How we rate, review and stay independent
Nikkco is a narrow crypto utility publisher: prices, calculators and comparisons. We do not take custody, run an exchange or manage money. This page explains how the recommendations are made and how the site is paid for.
What we do
We build tools that answer a specific question quickly: what is this asset worth, what will this trade cost, which venue is cheaper after spread and withdrawal fees, and what does a bridge or a staking route actually involve. We publish the method, the date the data was checked and the limitations. We do not publish price predictions or token recommendations.
The site is deliberately static and data-light. You can read it on a slow connection, keep a portfolio locally, and use the calculators without an account. No part of the tool set requires a sign-up or an email address.
How scores are calculated
Every comparison uses the same five weighted criteria. Each is scored out of 5, then weighted and rounded to one decimal. A score is a summary of the trade-offs, not a guarantee of safety or profitability.

What we test
- Published schedules, read line by line. Base tiers, pair-specific exceptions, payment-method fees and withdrawal charges.
- Small live transactions. Typically $20–$100, to check the quoted fee, spread and arrival time rather than trusting the marketing page.
- Support response. One factual question per vendor, with the first response time recorded.
- Documentation and safety disclosures. Where withdrawal limits, proof of reserves and approval practices are explained.
We cannot test every country, account tier or asset. Where coverage is incomplete, we say so and keep the score conservative. If a provider changes its terms materially, the page is updated at the next monthly check.
Affiliate disclosure
Some outbound links — mainly to exchanges, wallet makers and tax software — are affiliate links. If you open an account and meet the provider's conditions, Nikkco may receive a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you and does not affect the fee or product you receive.
Commercial relationships never buy a higher score, a place in a "best of" list or a favourable verdict. The editorial desk sets rankings before affiliate terms are discussed. Where a provider is not an affiliate partner, it is still included if it meets the criteria. Pages with affiliate links carry a disclosure at the bottom.
We do not run sponsored posts disguised as reviews or paid "top pick" placements. Selected comparison pages display one clearly labelled banner from AADS; it is separated from the editorial content and has no influence on scores. The unit loads in a third-party iframe, so AADS may set its own cookies or collect data within that frame under its own privacy policy.
Privacy and data
- No first-party cookies. Our code sets none and reads none. The ad iframe on selected comparison pages may set cookies under AADS's own policy.
- No analytics. Tool pages make requests only to this domain. Pages carrying the AADS unit also load
acceptable.a-ads.com. - Local storage. The theme preference and any portfolio you create are stored in your browser. They are never transmitted to us. Clearing site data deletes them.
- Price refresh. Pressing refresh sends one request from your browser to Binance's public ticker endpoint. That request necessarily reveals your IP address to Binance, as any web request would. Nothing else about you is sent.
- Service worker. A small cache stores the pages and assets you have visited so the site works offline. You can clear it with your browser's site-data controls.
- Email. If you write to us, we receive your address and message. We do not add it to a marketing list.
Corrections and contact
If a fee, fact or link is wrong, tell us and we will check it. Corrections that change a score or a pick are noted on the page. Email [email protected] with the page URL and the specific claim.
